TEMPUS IV ELIGIBLE ACTIONS

JOINT PROJECTS (JP) implemented at institutional level to reform curricula, improve university governance, create more links with society.

 

ELIGIBLE ACTIONS:

1- Curriculum Reform:

  • Modernisation of curricula: ECTS, 3 cycles, recognition of degrees

2- Governance Reform:

·         University management and student services

·         Introduction of quality assurance

·         Institutional and financial autonomy & accountability

·         Equal access to HE

·         Development of international relations

3- Higher Education and Society:

  • Training of non-university teachers
  • Development of partnerships with enterprises
  • Knowledge triangle education/research/innovation
  • Training courses for public services (Min./ local auth.)
  • Development of lifelong learning
  • Qualifications frameworks

State-recognised public or private HE institutions (either in EU or PC)

Associations, organisations or networks of HE institutions

  • State-recognised public or private HE institutions (either in EU or PC)
  • Associations, organisations or networks of HE institutions
  • Rector/teacher/student organisations
  • Non-governmental organisations
  • Social partners and their training organisations
  • Private and public enterprises
  • Research institutions
  • Public administrations (Ministries, other national/regional/local administrations) or governmental organisations BUT with special  funding conditions (eligible for reimbursement of travel costs and costs of stay only)

STRUCTURAL MEASURES (SM) implemented at national level for the development and reform of national higher education structures and systems in Partner Countries.

ELIGIBLE ACTIONS:

  1. Governance reform: qualification systems, quality assurance, national laws, organisation, coordination, accreditation, evaluation and the policy of higher education systems etc.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS :

ELIGIBLE PARTNERS :

  • State-recognised public or private HE institutions (either in EU or PC)
  • Associations, organisations or networks of HE institutions
  • Rector/teacher/student organisations

 

  • State-recognised public or private HE institutions (either in EU or PC)
  • Associations, organisations or networks of HE institutions
  • Rector/teacher/student organisations
  • Non-governmental organisations
  • Social partners and their training organisations
  • Private and public enterprises
  • Research institutions
  • Public administrations (Ministries, other national/regional/local administrations) or governmental organisations BUT with special  funding conditions (eligible for reimbursement of travel costs and costs of stay only)
  • The Ministry/ies responsible for higher education in each Partner Country must be involved as full partner.
  • BUT under special funding conditions.

Two categories of JP and SM may be supported:

  1. 'NATIONAL JP/SM’ target one Partner Country and focus on the national priorities set for that country.
  2. 'MULTI-COUNTRY JP/SM' aim to benefit more than one Partner Country. They focus on regional priorities, which are common to all Partner Countries in one region. They can also address a national priority shared by a number of Partner Countries.

Eligibility of the partnership depends on the JP and SM categories:

ELIGIBLE PARTNERSHIPS:

minimum of 6 HE institutions:

 

  • 3 from the involved Partner Country
  • 3 from 3 different EU countries

minimum of 7 HE institutions:

 

  • 2 from each involved Partner country (minimum 2 PC)
  • 3 from 3 different EU countries
